How many Miles & More Points does a stay earn?
Marriott’s partner page sets it by brand:
- Select and Longer Stay brands: 20 Miles & More Points a stay
- Premium and Collection brands: 40 Miles & More Points a stay
- Luxury brands: 60 Miles & More Points a stay
The partnership terms say 40 a stay instead, so the two disagree. Both cap it at 120 a year, which is 3 stays at the terms’ rate. A stay is one or more nights in a row at the same hotel, and the credit can take up to 8 weeks after check-out.

How do you link Marriott and Miles & More?
Sign in on Marriott’s Miles & More partner page and choose to link your accounts. The first and last name on both accounts must match.

How does the Miles & More credit card give Marriott status?
In Marriott’s words: “Members with the Lufthansa Miles & More Credit Card issued by Deutsche Bank AG receive Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status for as long as they have the card. Accelerate to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status for 12 months after completing eight qualifying nights within the first 90 days.”
The terms name the cards that count (Miles & More Gold Credit Card, Miles & More Gold Credit Card Business, Lufthansa Frequent Traveller Credit Card, Lufthansa Frequent Traveller Credit Card Business) and say the eight nights must be paid nights, within 90 days of registering. You have to register and link the accounts first.
Miles & More Senator and HON Circle members get Gold Elite too, for at least 12 months while they keep that status.
